How It Works

Meet, Greet & Design Consultation

We are excited to meet you and discuss your project. Our team is dedicated to creating a unique and personalized design that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. Let's talk about your project and find the ideal design package for you.

Measure Appointment &
Drawing of Floor Plans + 3D Renderings

Our team will be taking photos, measurements, and thorough notes about your space, while also discussing your aesthetic preferences with you. With this information, our designers will begin crafting floor plans and 3D renderings for your project. Our goal is to bring your vision to reality and create a space that you will adore!

Design Presentation

Once the designs are complete, we will schedule a review meeting with you to walk you through the floor plans and renderings. During the meeting, we will take note of any revisions needed to ensure your satisfaction.

Make Necessary Revisions & Prepare Proposal Based on Final Design

It's important to have a clear understanding of the total cost of your project before moving forward. Our Estimators provide you with a final proposal and Budget Items list once all design revisions are complete. This will give you a comprehensive view of the project costs based on the approved design layout.

Proposal Presentation

We will meet with you to go over your project proposal, which includes the detailed Scope of Work document and Budget Items list. During this meeting, you will be able to see the total cost of your project and the timeline in which it will be completed. We look forward to working with you!

Upon Proposal Acceptance

If you choose to continue with DB Home Improvement as the contractor, the cost of your design will be applied to the down payment for the construction. To accept the proposal, you will sign a contract and provide payment for the down payment. You will receive an invite to our workflow app which will have the milestone steps that keep you involved on what to expect.

Permits

Permit your project! County permits are required for most projects, including additions, and major renovations. The specific permits needed depend on the type of project. Our team will acquire the necessary permits for your project before we begin!

Demolition to Completion

You will be assigned a Project Manager. Your PM will be your main point of contact throughout the construction phase and will manage the schedule and communication with all subcontractors. Through our workflow app, your Project Manager will provide an update on what was completed and what’s coming up next through and including completion.
